A system with a depth of sash construction of 85 mm and a maximum glazing width of 51 mm, enabling any three product configurations.
The new aluplast HST 85 mm lift and slide doors are unique on the market: they are available in three different variants, depending on the requirements for thermal insulation: from the basic version, through the standard version, to the premium version, which meets the highest requirements for passive houses.
ONE SYSTEM - THREE SOLUTIONS
The new HST 85 mm door system is, on the one hand, a response to the expectations regarding the creation of ever larger window structures, and on the other hand, through structural changes, and above all, the possibility of using wider glazing units with a width of up to 51 mm, allows to obtain above-average properties in terms of thermal insulation. . A novelty in this segment is the modular nature of the structure, which enables any three product configurations, depending on the expected thermal parameters.
The Ideal 7000 series includes a new system solution for exclusive front doors with an elegant and simple design. Thanks to the new door profile, dedicated to external doors with overlay fillings covering the leaf plane, aluplast entrance doors meet the high aesthetic requirements of architects. The new solution for external doors has been developed in cooperation with all leading manufacturers of fillings. The result: thanks to the installation depth of the new sash variant reduced by 4 mm to 81 mm, all common infills can be used without changing the gaskets with the system depth of profile construction of 85 mm.

Thanks to the freedom to choose various combinations of profiles in the lintel part of the door and in the threshold part, we can choose between three options: Basic, Standard and Premium, which are addressed to various groups of recipients with different requirements regarding thermal insulation.
Due to the increase of the depth of the wings used in the construction of HST balcony doors to 85 mm, the sealing knot at the line of overlapping of the sections of the movable and fixed parts was also modified. The flat gasket used so far has been replaced with an EPDM gasket with a tubular cross-section. By slightly increasing the values of operational forces necessary to completely close the wing, a significant increase in the airtightness of the joint was thus obtained.
The threshold in the "Basic" version is made of aluminum, except for a small PVC-U element on the inside. The construction of the threshold in the "Standard" version is similar, but the aluminum parts are separated by a polyamide thermal break. The threshold in the "Premium" version is made entirely of GFK glass fiber reinforced plastic. Additionally, all the threshold chambers are filled with PU foam, which additionally increases the value of the element in terms of thermal permeability by limiting the value of the linear thermal bridge within the threshold of the structure without compromising its structural stiffness.
HST doors are a modern and safe solution, designed to eliminate ubiquitous barriers. The low door threshold with a height of 48 mm, which can be recessed from the side of the room along its entire height, meets the requirements for construction without architectural barriers and allows trouble-free entry and exit. Thanks to special overlays, it is also possible to align the threshold with the floor surface and thus completely eliminate architectural barriers.
